** Important Note: Play~Bow Dog Training prohibits the use of  prong / pinch or choke type collars on the grounds at any and all events (this does not include martingale type collars, slip leads or martingale leads used in the agility ring).  This includes dogs that may or may not be competing but are with you for the day.**

Entry Acceptance Method and Opening Date
Entries postmarked before July 6, 2009 will not be accepted. Entry POSTMARK DATE will determine the acceptance order. Hand-stamped postmarks are recommended. There is no need to overnight entries. In accordance with NADAC guidelines, priority entry will be given to a limited number of exhibitors who volunteer to help work at our trial. Entries postmarked before July 17th will receive discounted entry fees.

Closing Date
All entries must be RECEIVED no later than August 28th. Entries are limited to 400 total runs per day (350 runs with jumps). Entries not filled out correctly or sent with an incorrect amount of fees will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any entry. Anyone who is not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial.

Entry Fees
$12/run for entries postmarked on or before July 17th; $14/run for entries postmarked after July 17th; $15/run for day-of-trial entries or any entries received after the closing date IF ACCEPTED;

Entry Changes
Accepted entries may be changed prior to Monday September 7th. E-mail requests to Erin Wajda at trialsec@northeastagility.com, or call 518-712-5323 (e-mail is preferred). When you request changes please identify the trial date, dog, owner, dog’s NADAC number, and the requested change. Any changes made after the closing date will cost $5.00 per change REGARDLESS OF WHO IS AT FAULT so please check your confirmation carefully! You will receive e-mail confirmation of any requested change. Erin is usually able to respond within 3 weekdays. If you do not receive a response then please e-mail her again. No changes will be made at the trial so please read your confirmations carefully!

Move-Ups
Move-ups between days will be allowed providing the request is made no later than 15 minutes after the results are posted for the last class on Saturday.

Refunds
There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date. A dog or handler which suffers an injury and/or illness or bitches that come into season after the closing date may be eligible for a refund of up to 75% of their total entry fees. Requests for said refunds must be received in writing by the by the completion of the event on Sunday, September 13th. Please include documentation from your veterinarian or physician verifying the illness or injury. A $5.00 processing fee will be assessed for any requested refund.  No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, snow, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond our control.

Running Orders
Running orders will be posted by Tuesday evening, September 8th. No extra copies of the catalog will be available at the trial, so if you would like your own copy of the running order, please print one out from the website. If you wish to have the catalog printed out for you, the trial secretary will provide copies at a cost of $1.00 per catalog provided that you make your request prior to 8:00 PM on Wednesday September 9th by calling 518-712-5323 or e-mailing trialsec@northeastagility.com, e-mail is preferred. Requested copies will be available during check-in.

Registration / Starting Times

IMPORTANT NOTE Sunday Exhibitors: This year, due to the late Labor Day holiday we are conflicting with a local triathlon that has its start at the entrance to the fairgrounds.  The race is scheduled to begin at 7am on Sunday, September 13th.  From 7am – 7:30 am Rt. 299 at Springtown Rd. will be closed as well as Libertyville Rd. from the junction of Rt. 299 to the UC Fairgrounds. Please plan on arriving at the site before 6:45am to avoid being held up in traffic.  We will hold walk thrus at 8:00am on Sunday only, please plan accordingly.  The morning briefing will be at 8:30am with the first dog at immediately thereafter.  If you need to have your dog measured, please do so as soon as you arrive.

***SATURDAY***Daily registration, measuring, and walkthroughs on Saturday will be from 7:00-7:30 AM. Briefings will begin at 7:30 AM with the first dog on the line IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD.  If you are entered in the first class, please be sure to walk your course prior to the 7:30AM morning briefing.

***SUNDAY*** Daily registration, measuring, and walkthroughs on Sunday will be from 8:00am – 8:30. The morning briefing will be at 8:30 with the first dog on the line IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD.  If you are entered in the first class, please be sure to walk your course prior to the 8:30AM morning briefing.  All levels of Tunnelers will walk together on Sunday morning.

Dogs that need to be measured MUST be measured during morning check-in on the first day entered, BEFORE they can run in any event. Depending on class size, walk-thrus for all levels of Tunnelers, Touch N Go, Weavers and Hoopers may be combined.

Tentative Trial Schedule
Below is the tentative trial schedule for this trial. It is subject to change at the club’s and/or judge’s discretion. All classes will run Elite-Open-Novice. Saturday will run small to tall; Sunday will run tall to small.

Saturday: Jumpers, Chances, Regular 1+2, Touch N Go, Weavers, Tunnelers
Sunday: Tunnelers, Touch N Go, Regular 1+2, Chances, Jumpers, Hoopers

Driving Directions

As you approach the fairgrounds, we will be ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD IN THE HORSE RING AREA.  Please note, there will be another event  on the LEFT side of the road in the actual fairgrounds.  THAT IS NOT US... it is a food festival.  (paid entry to get in, no dogs allowed)

The Ulster County Fair is located on Libertyville Road, just 2 miles from the heart of New Paltz.

From the South and North
Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 18 New Paltz.  Take a left onto Route 299 West through the village and follow signs to Libertyville Road - first left after crossing bridge outside of town.

From the East
Mid-Hudson Bridge North on Route 9W to Route 299 West to the village of New Paltz. Follow signs to Libertyville Road.  First left after crossing bridge outside of town.

From the West
From Route 209 In Kerhonkson, take 44/55 East over mountain to Route 299 East.  Right turn onto Libertyville Road - approximately 2 miles.
