** Important Note: Play~Bow Dog Training prohibits the use of  prong / pinch or choke type collars on the grounds at any and all events (this does not include martingale type collars, slip leads or martingale leads used in the agility ring).  This includes dogs that may or may not be competing but are with you for the day.**

Entry Acceptance Method and Closing Date
Entry POSTMARK DATE will determine the acceptance order. There is no need to overnight entries.  All pre-entries must be RECEIVED no later than April 5th.  Entries are limited to 450 total runs per day (350 runs with jumps).  Entries not filled out correctly or sent with an incorrect amount of fees will not be accepted.  We reserve the right to refuse any entry.  Anyone who is not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial.  In accordance with NADAC guidelines, priority entry will be given to a limited number of exhibitors who help volunteer to work at our trial.

Entry Fees
Entries postmarked on or before February 20th will receive an early entry discount.
  $12/run for entries postmarked on or before February 20th; $14/run for entries postmarked after February 20th, $15/run for any entries received after the closing date and day-of-trial entries IF ACCEPTED (additional administration fees may apply, please see below).  PLEASE NOTE: Gift Certificates may only be redeemed for entries postmarked on or before Feb 20th.

Day of Trial Entries
Day of trial entries will be accepted at this trial. The cost for day of trial entries will be $15/run.  An additional one-time $15 administration fee will be charged for day of trial entries for any dog that is not pre-entered in the trial.


IMPORTANT NOTE: According to NADAC regulations we cannot accept day-of-trial entries for classes for which the course maps have been posted. Therefore, no course maps will be posted at this trial. If you plan on entering the first class of the day and have not pre-entered, you must let me know by Thursday (8PM) by e-mailing trialsec@northeastagility.com. We will be setting courses the night before and they will be numbered first thing in the morning for walk-throughs..

Entry Changes
Accepted entries may be changed prior to Monday April 12th.  E-mail requests to Erin Wajda at trialsec@northeastagility.com, or call 518-712-5323 (e-mail is preferred).  When you request changes please identify the trial date, dog, owner, dog’s NADAC number, and the requested change.  Any changes made after the closing date will cost $5.00 per change REGARDLESS OF WHO IS AT FAULT so please check your confirmation carefully!  You will receive e-mail confirmation of any requested change.  Erin is usually able to respond within 3 weekdays.  If you do not receive a response then please e-mail her again.

Move-Ups
Move-ups between days will be allowed providing the request is made no later than 15 minutes after the results are posted for the last class on Saturday.

Refunds
There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal.  Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date.  A dog or handler which suffers an injury and/or illness or bitches that come into season after the closing date may be eligible for a refund up to 75% of their total entry fee.  Requests for said refunds must be received in writing by the by the completion of the event on Sunday, April 18th.  Please include documentation from your veterinarian or physician verifying the illness or injury. A $5.00 processing fee will be assessed for any requested refund.  No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, snow, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond our control.

Running Orders
Running orders will be posted by Tuesday evening, April 13th. No extra copies of the catalog will be available at the trial, so if you would like your own copy of the running order, please print one out from the website.

Registration / Starting Times
Daily registration, measuring and walkthroughs will be from 8:00-8:20 AM.  Dogs that need to be measured MUST be measured during morning check-in on the first day entered, BEFORE they can run in any event. The general briefing will begin at 8:20 AM with the first dog on the line by 8:30 AM. Depending on class size, walk-thrus for all levels of Tunnelers, Touch N Go, Weavers and Hoopers may be combined.

Tentative Trial Schedule
Below is the tentative trial schedule for this trial. It is subject to change at the club’s and/or judge’s discretion. All classes will run Elite-Open-Novice. For classes with jumps, Saturday will run small to tall and Sunday will run tall to small
. Jump heights may be intermixed in classes without jumps.

Saturday: Jumpers, Chances, Regular 1+2, Touch N Go, Weavers, Tunnelers
Sunday: Tunnelers, Touch N Go, Regular 1+2, Chances, Hoopers, Jumpers

Driving Directions

As you approach the fairgrounds, we will be ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD NEAR THE YOUTH BUILDING.

The Ulster County Fair is located on Libertyville Road, just 2 miles from the heart of New Paltz.

From the South and North
Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 18 New Paltz.  Take a left onto Route 299 West through the village and follow signs to Libertyville Road - first left after crossing bridge outside of town.

From the East
Mid-Hudson Bridge North on Route 9W to Route 299 West to the village of New Paltz. Follow signs to Libertyville Road.  First left after crossing bridge outside of town.

From the West
From Route 209 In Kerhonkson, take 44/55 East over mountain to Route 299 East.  Right turn onto Libertyville Road - approximately 2 miles.
