***WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING DAY OF TRIAL ENTRIES***
e-mail trialsec@northeastagility.com if the trial has closed and you want to attend

At NAE trials day-of-trial entries started as a way for people to add that extra run that they forgot, or thought that their old dog or young dog would not be ready for.  They were also for the person whose schedule changed at the last minute and who realized they could come to a trial that they previously thought they could not.  However, I believe that day of trial entries have changed the way people think about entering trials and the unintended consequence has been that more and more people are holding off on their entries until day of trial. This season, I thought that instituting an extra (admin) fee might encourage people to pre-enter and commit ahead of time to coming to a trial, but that has not been its effect. As a group that gets low entries to begin with, this is no longer working, because we must commit ahead of time to put on the trial and to pay all expenses regardless of the number of entries. Not knowing whether we will have enough entries to pay all expenses puts us at too much risk and, therefore, we will no longer be accepting day of trial entries. I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I need exhibitors to commit to coming to a trial early enough to know where we stand financially before the actual trial. If you find that you want to come to the trial or add runs to your entries, but the closing date has gone by, please contact me via e-mail at trialsec@northeastagility.com and I will, as always, be as accommodating as possible. However, no runs will be added once the trial has begun.
