NAE Camping Policy
(revised January 2025)
For trials hosted at Kampfires Campground, camping reservations are made directly with Kampfires. You must call (or email) them, and tell them that you are coming for the dog agility trial. The spots in the F-section by the agility field are blocked off in the reservation system and cannot be reserved online.
We strongly advise you to make your reservations early, as the spots by the field fill up quickly. If the spots by the field are full, you can reserve a spot in the main campground.
Please be aware that check-out time is 12pm. There is a late check-out option that you may wish to take advantage of. Please be sure to confirm this when making your reservation. The trials are typically done sometime between 4pm and 5pm. *You must stop by the office on your way out to pay any late fees if you depart after 12pm.*
Please note, during the off season Kampfires will check phone messages once daily and will typically return your calls by the next day, 802-254-2098. You can also email them at relax@kampfires.com.
The camping section by the agility field is reserved for trial exhibitors with paid entry fees only. Anyone who has reserved a spot in the F-Section by the field must:
Notify NAE by contacting NAE@northeastagility.com to confirm your reservation and site number.
Submit a trial entry within 2 weeks of the opening date. (Checks are not cashed until after the closing date.) Reserved spots that are not connected to a trial entry will be released to the next person on the waitlist.
Notify NAE immediately if you cancel your camping reservation so that the next person on the NAE waitlist can reserve the spot. You must cancel directly with Kampfires AND email NAE@northeastagility.com to let us know of the cancellation.
Cancellations after the trial closing date may be subjected to a cancellation fee if we are unable to fill the spot.
NAE will be keeping a *WAITLIST* for back field camping spots. Do not ask Kampfires to be added to a waitlist! (They do not keep one, and attempts to keep one only result in confusion.) Priority will be given to exhibitors who have entered the trial and have an existing camping reservation in another section of the campground. Email NAE@northeastagility.com to be put on the waitlist. Please note the dates you are coming and the size and type of RV you will be bringing.
Individual camping sites are subject to certain size and RV type restrictions placed on them by the campground.
Please understand that demand for camping spots by the agility field has increased, which is wonderful for trial entries, but has unfortunately necessitated the need for increased management.
